
Stevenage CVS once again joined in with Stevenage Fairtrade Steering Group’s Fairtrade Fortnight 2008 promotion to promote awareness of Fairtrade in Stevenage. • giving out quiz sheets to staff and visitors at Stevenage Voluntary Centre – everyone completing the quiz will be given a Co-op Fairtrade chocolate bar (until our stock runs out) • advertising this on our website www.stevenagecvs.org.uk with links to Fairtrade and Stevenage Borough Council • advertising Fairtrade Fortnight and the Stevenage Fairtrade Steering Group’s Fairtrade Fortnight 2008 Challenge in our January 2008 Newsletter • advertising the showing of the film ‘Black Gold’ with a link to the ticket booking office in our E bulletin circulated on 12th February • putting up a display and providing leaflets • used photos taken during Fairtrade fortnight on our website and summer Newsletter • continued to display Fairtrade posters in our meeting room and reception area • given out Co-op Fairtrade chocolate bars to all the attendees at the MyHertsLAA conference who completed a feedback form (with thanks to the Co-op for their kind donation) • Stevenage CVS has signed up to Every Action Counts (EAC). One of the 5 key action areas is to shop ethically which includes Fairtrade
