Stevenage CVS has been using Fairtrade tea, coffee and sugar for several years now and so this year we are swapping our chocolate for Fairtrade chocolate. You can swap your usual bananas for Fairtrade bananas, your usual cuppa for a Fairtrade cuppa and any other Fairtrade swaps you can make. This means that every time you go shopping, you can use your wallet to make a stand. We hope you can give all your mugs a makeover by supporting third world producers by filling your mugs to the brim with Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

To encourage our member groups to participate we have organised a competition. Stevenage Fairtrade Group have kindly donated prizes. One lucky member group can scoop a prize of £30 worth of Fairtrade goodies. 3 runners up will receive a Fairtrade office goodie bag with tea bags, coffee and lots more.

All you have to do is email us a picture of what you are doing for Fairtrade fortnight. (Make sure the people in your picture are happy for their photo to be taken and published). The results will be published in our Easter hardcopy Newsletter. Send your photos to Lorna with a brief description by Monday 8^th March 2010.
