One of the biggest challenges for anyone faced with responsibility in a charity is getting to grips with the rules on finance, particularly all the special requirements under charity law.

 

Essential for anyone who needs a rapid but thorough introduction to charity accounting.

 

Suitable for those new to financial management, and for experienced and book -keepers who are new to the voluntary sector. Plenty of hands-on practical sessions!

This is a free morning workshop to help you put together a strong funding application.

 

 

 

 

 

Awards for All is a Lottery grants scheme for local communities. It will fund projects for a period of up to 12 months, and organisations can apply for amounts of between £300 and £10,000 in any two year period. Projects focussing on sport, art, heritage, education, the environment, health and others that benefit the local community may be funded.
